Tl dr: Had yet another signature delivery fail due to no audible signal that the driver had gotten to our household, this time there was no door tag. I'm not upset over that, it's quite understandable (Heck, I have time restrictions on certain things at work myself), but there never seems to be an attempt made, and when we're waiting for the delivery JUST BEHIND THE DOOR, we should at least hear something. *I understand the issues that are going on and restricted times and all that. Again, long story)? Cause I literally have NO problems with our local FedEx bringing in deliveries except for ones that need signatures. Also, is there a way to prevent this common occurrence in the future (besides a doorbell, because that's not my problem. And the stupid virtual assistant doesn't have a remedy for "no door tag left at house", it just tells me to read the door tag (WHICH I DON'T HAVE!!! Frustrating.). How the heck am I supposed to comply with a door tag that I never received? Again, I've never had an issue with our address, so it's more than likely not on another house on accident. Long story on that one), and the delivery always "fails" even when there's 2 or more people waiting behind the door, expecting someone to knock.* This time however, there was no door tag, and all the emails that came in say "Hey, there will be a door tag telling you when we'll be back. Makes no attempt to knock (cause there's no doorbell. Half the time I wish my house had the same cool guys that deliver for the store I work at.Įvery single time, the person who delivers in my town, (I'm assuming here, cause it's hard to see anything with how the windows are situated at the front) walks up to the house, sees if anyone opens the door for them, and then walks away. Heck, I was behind the door for one delivery and when I went to check on the tracking, it literally said the delivery failed, yet I was downstairs waiting the ENTIRE TIME. But whenever I need to sign for a package (whether I know it or not), I get 5 seconds and no notice. Cause they can't read the road the house is on). They come, they deliver, done deal, no issues what-so-ever (not even mistaken address which even our Post does. Normally deliveries from my local FedEx are fairly straight-forward. This always tends to happen with anything I "need to sign" with packages, but this time takes the cake. Invitations: Enable others to access your FedEx InSight views. Search and filter: Find and organize data by name, postal code, shipment status, date and more. Downloads: Export the data from any FedEx InSight view for use in other applications. Also, sometimes I just can't seem to get a coherent explanation down without it sounding snarky. Find shipments: Search by tracking number, customer reference or door tag number. Aside: It is a bit gripe-y, but when you've spent literally 1 hour trying to get an answer for something so simple, it turns into frustration.
